I began my career as a leading scientist at the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT - an institution powered by charitable giving. This is where I fell in love with philanthropy and my life would be forever changed! Even after moving on from the Broad on to pursue other endeavors, philanthropy was always on my mind. I craved to understand how it all worked.

One day, I came across a role at the Milken Institute that blended my interests in health, research, and most importantly philanthropy. During my tenure at Milken my interest in philanthropy grew into a superpower that I had no idea was there. As a result of my success driven by this new superpower, Milken gave me an opportunity to co-found a highly successful philanthropic advising practice - The Milken Institute Center for Strategic Philanthropy (CSP). Doing this work, my team and I advised individuals and families on how to strategically direct their giving. We launched new foundations, built new initiatives and programs from the ground up, developed and managed grantmaking processes, helped nonprofit grantees optimize their operations and programs, fundraised, built peer learning cohorts for philanthropists, and so much more. I led our growth from a nimble team of two to a team of 30+, oversaw operations, strategic direction, and the expansion of our work to markets in the Middle East, Asia, and Europe. It was an honor and pleasure to build such a wonderful engine that is powering major philanthropic investments in health and medical research, but I wanted to do more!  The world is an increasingly complicated place and there are lots of social problems to solve outside of health and medical research.

The mission of my firm - GSG Partners - is to help philanthropists, foundations, and nonprofits address and solve a wide variety of social challenges.
